Telephone Wiring Diagram Telephone Wiring Help Please?

Telephone wiring help please? - telephone wiring diagram

So here, in my problem. I try to be adding a new phone at a different location. I know how to run the wires in the walls and everything, but I still deal with the phone system in my house. I Ethernet cable to my house for what is not new for me. My first question is.

Can I run through the Ethernet cable to the left, an additional phone jack to?

As to the second question. I will try to make a rough plan for my problem.

M ---------------------------- O

M is the main line and O is my outlet available. Each of which is on another floor of my house. The main line from the floor in the attic and back to the upstairs bedroom. Then I cut the main line and splice in the new line to run a new outlet. Something like that.

---------------- M \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ O ---------------- --

The "bar", where Iconnect all the cables back together. However, one idea comes to mind is a Point of Sale, which only serve as anchors to install, all of which provide very good together.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

"The bar is where all cables can be together again. But the only idea comes to mind is to install an electrical outlet in places that serve only to d "anchors together to ensure that very well"

Just go to Radio Shack and buy joints. They have the unit in May / Cester gut renovation.

Use the cable, but the new run all the way back to the basics. In this way, if you have a problem, you know you are online. If your system from Best Practices conversion is carried out, every two lines are always at least 6 inches of power when it at right angles to them.

Yes, that's probably working, you can use a different phone jack, which the union or a standard terminal block.
Telephone ethernet cable is sound in general, but is abandoned (and expensive), this can cause problems with the terminals, if the nature of the displaced.
If you have ADSL, make sure no damage occurs after you connect the jumper cable or telephone connection.

Of course, the alternative of a cordless DECT phone is a single cable connection to the phone and many bases as you want.
