How old is the cattles for selling and what is the most popular speices of cattles in the beef market? - beef market
I have two cows, a shortie pure black and yellow and the other is the bull's horn, the age of 2 years. I wonder what is the best price for the cow that age, in the auction market. The price was also the most popular and moderate meat-market in this year?
All your answers are welcome, I'm sorry if any of you vote as the best answer, because no longer spend much time on the net.

Meat prices vary depending on where you live, and an auction can be very different. It depends on how many customers are there and what they are willing to pay. Furthermore, I have no idea what breed or quality. Meat breeds to go a little more money for dairy cattle bred here.
I would say if its a weekly invitation to visit the auction several times before they make their animals there, an idea, if you are worried how much you receive. You can tell that one is it in the freezer, a better option. I never for a cattle auction, because if they are well fed it will never get their money, except perhaps that they are able to pasture until they are ready for the grain.
Different breeds of cattle developed differently, also depends on your diet and health. I do not think we can truly say that they are ready at a certain age, you have to actually observe and learn how to evaluate it.
The animal is a typical market Baldy. Are Hereford, Angus cross. But, you see a pile of Hereford on the market.
Sold per pound. I attended a sale in the autumn of last year (to display / market steer), and ranged between $ 1.20 and 90 cents per pound. Age 2 years is a good market, but it really depends on the day you buy.
Sounds like a Black Angus and tend to show more because of add-going campaigns. It is known to improve marbling and flavor of meat-have quality.
Hope this helps.
ok I do not know many cattle and beef, but my father and my stepmother have pinzguars they use for beef and studies. Australia (where I live) is very popular elsewhere, Black Angus.
